Put simply, summer chalets in Morzine don’t come better located. This 6-bedroom detached chalet is perfect – sitting idyllically on a quiet and traditional side street. But step outside and before you know it, you’ll bump into the Super Morzine bubble lift and thereafter, the bustling resort centre. Chalet Zormine could translate as ‘location location location’.
Chalet Zormine is spectacularly built into the mountainside and towers above the delightful Parc des Dérêches, which offers a wonderful forest trail following the river, a treetop adventure park, pony and horse rides, a children’s play area, mini-farm and much more.
Literally opposite Zormine in Parc des Dérêches is Morzine’s famous swimming pool complex, where no doubt you’ll enjoy plenty of quality family time during your summer holiday. There is a range of outdoor and indoor pools including a 50m Olympic pool, childrens’ splash areas, flume, bouncy castle, volleyball courts, table tennis, café/restaurant and plenty of space for sunbathing. Nesting into the mountainside across its 4 floors, the construction of Chalet Zormine would have been worthy of the TV show ‘Grand Designs’. The chalet was designed and built to the very highest standards in an exclusive partnership between the owner and Simply Morzine.
Enter into the stylish open-plan dining-kitchen-lounge area, with wrap-around balcony, terrace, log burner and outdoor hot tub. This floor offers a spectacular living space with jaw-dropping views of the Parc des Dérêches and Super Morzine suspension bridge.
Offering indulgence in a modern yet relaxing and homely alpine environment, the top floor mezzanine provides a flexible sitting room-play- TV area leading to a covered terrace with picture-postcard views.
Moving downstairs from the kitchen-dining level are two ensuite twin or king-size bedrooms with a sweeping balcony, as well as the oversized family suite comprising a twin or king-size bedroom and adjoining triple bedroom (bunk bed and single).
On the lower floor are 3 further ensuite twin or king-size bedrooms (one with a 1m20 height mezzanine offering an additional double bed which is perfect for children). Each bedroom has a shared balcony and the floor also hosts a sauna and pool table room.
Chalet Zormine boasts 6 generously-sized ensuite bedrooms (including the impressive family suite), comfortably accommodating up to a maximum of 14/17 guests.
