Chalet Carving is highly sought after during the summer months. Positioned at the very foot of the Pleney lifts, biking trails and summer luge, the chalet is tucked away below the alpine slopes and forests, whilst the charming village centre is just steps away. Along with our neighbouring Chalet Coeur de Morzine, we are confident there are no chalets with a better location in central Morzine.
From the chalet’s panoramic sun-kissed terrace, guests can enjoy watching the very best of Morzine’s summer season. Sit back on a recliner, relax over a BBQ lunch or use the luxury hot tub (available at a supplement) as thrill-seekers hurtle down the summer luge and world-famous mountain bike trails that wind down the Pleney mountain, which effectively, is the chalet’s back garden. This is an outdoor summer holiday paradise in an unbeatable position.
In addition, the village centre is only 100 metres away, allowing guests at Chalet Carving the quickest possible access to bustling Morzine in summer. The swimming pool, tennis courts, ice rink, petit-train and wide range of cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques could not be more convenient.
Built in typical Savoyard style, this timber-clad chalet, with sauna, large open plan lounge/diner, fully-equipped kitchen and separate TV/games room is luxuriously furnished to offer a high level of traditional alpine comfort.
Chalet Carving sleeps up to 12 people in 5 tastefully-furnished and relatively-spacious ensuite bedrooms. All but one of the bedrooms has a balcony with beautiful alpine vista. If required, the sofa bed in the TV/play room gives the opportunity for a 6th ‘spare’ bedroom with separate use of the public shower and toilet facilities, this increases the chalet’s capacity to 13 guests.
The property’s situation immediately next to the green space of ‘le Pleney’ make it ideal for a single family or a larger group of families or friends in search of a perfect holiday in the mountains. The chalet operates on a self-catered basis (although catered bookings may also be possible on request).
