Back in 1995, mountain-loving entrepreneur Mike Marshall spotted the potential of offering high quality accommodation to rent in Morzine - in both winter and summer. Simply Morzine was born. Our flagship Morzine accommodation, Chalet des Montagnes, was designed and built to the highest possible specifications. With humble and fledgling beginnings operating a single chalet, we were amongst the first pioneering British companies to establish ourselves in the (then) relatively unknown French alpine resort of Morzine.

How times change

Following our formation over 20 years ago, Simply Morzine’s portfolio of high-quality Morzine accommodation has been handpicked, maintained, refined, developed and improved. We have witnessed Morzine bloom over the decades, to become one of the most sought-after ski and summer holiday destinations in France and Europe. Our heritage is undoubtedly well established and we continue to build on this legacy - to provide only the very best accommodation and holidays in Morzine.

Simply Morzine’s accommodation is now operated by Mike Marshall’s sons Gareth and Ben, with Mike now retired and often enjoying being pampered as a guest at the Morzine accommodation he established. We are a genuine family business. Despite the passing of time, the company’s ethos has always been the same: to provide the very highest levels of personal service at the finest and best-located holiday accommodation in Morzine.

We have witnessed different Morzine accommodation providers, the competition, come and go. Faceless multi-resort tour operators, new start ups, or ‘life-stylers’ living the alpine dream come and go each year, often promising the earth with properties in obscure and remote locations. Some succeed but most do not.
