Simply Morzine recognise that an enjoyable and memorable dining experience is an integral part of your holiday. That is why, in our catered chalets, we employ professional chefs and trained chalet hosts to wine & dine our guests. Chalet chefs use local suppliers to prepare high-quality evening meals accompanied by quaffable house wines (or beer for the non-wine drinkers), as well as breakfast with a daily hot option, afternoon tea with homemade cakes and welcome/farewell drinks and canapés. Additionally, our summer chalet holidays feature al fresco dining, including a splendid weekly buffet barbecue. At our Morzine hotel, enjoy the tasty French cuisine and specialities from the local alpine region.
Superb cuisine prepared by professional chefs
Unlike competitors, Simply Morzine DO NOT train ‘crash-course’ hosts to follow a company ‘standard menu’ using their set recipe book. On the contrary, our catered chalet chefs have graduated from well-renowned cookery schools or have worked in professional kitchens. Simply Morzine stand out from the competition because we allow chefs the freedom and creativity to express themselves by writing their own seasonal menus to display individual skills, experiences and personality.

At our catered chalets, enjoy a glass of fizz with canapés before settling down to your evening meal. Served on our weekly arrival and departure days, as well as midweek for exclusive occupancy short breaks.

Our catered chalets operate a popular honesty bar system, with a selection of reasonably priced beer, wine, fizz, spirits, soft drinks and chocolate bars. It is stocked and managed by the Simply team themselves - with any profits come the end of the season being entirely for them, NOT for the company.

Enjoy the daily hot option in our catered chalets including favourites such as scrambled eggs with or without smoked salmon, eggs Benedict and a 'mini-English' - for example bacon, fried eggs & grilled tomatoes, or sausages, hash brown & beans.
An extended continental breakfast is provided in both Hotel la Chaumiere and the catered chalets. This includes pastries (croissants & pan au chocolat), bread, jam, fruit, yoghurts, cold meats and cheese, along with teas (including Yorkshire tea in the catered chalets!), filter coffee and apple / orange juices.

Freshly baked cakes or biscuits await your return to your catered chalet after a day in the mountains. A selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and fruit syrups (the French equivalent of squash) are always available 24/7 from the chalet drinks station with our compliments.

We cater for all the family, serving a tasty separate children's meal at around 6pm. Alternatively, unlike many other catered chalet companies, children are more than welcome to join adults for the main evening meal if you would prefer to dine together as a family.

Sit down to a delicious four-course set evening meal after a day in the mountains. Dinner in the catered chalets consists of a starter, main course and dessert - with the addition of canapés, sorbet or cheeseboard as the 4th course - followed by tea & coffee. Your chef will aim to satisfy taste buds and replenish energy levels after your daily dose of alpine adventure!

Our catered chalet wines are carefully chosen from various regions of France. We offer a balanced selection of delightful house wines (usually 3 whites, 3 reds & 1 pale rosé) which are generously free-flowing during meal time until once dessert has been served. In our catered chalets we also include beer during meal times for the non-wine drinkers.
The excellent and varied wine list at Hotel la Chaumiere is renowned as one of the best in Morzine, ranging from house wines right up to fine wines.

The focus point of la Chaumiere is the stylish and elegant restaurant. The superb buffet breakfast wants for nothing, with choice galore. Unwind at dinner with a 4-course meal, whilst being treated to a variety of classic French and regional dishes.
Please note that in our catered chalets, we do not provide any catering services on one day per week (usually Wednesday unless specified at the point of enquiry/booking). On this day, a self-service breakfast is available (without hot option or pastries) although not afternoon cakes, children's supper or evening meal.

We will do our best to cater for any food allergies, intolerances or other special dietary requirements. Whilst we provide a set evening meal, we will, of course, endeavour to offer an alternative - where feasible - should there be something on the menu that you cannot eat. In fairness to the chef, we are sure you appreciate this does not apply to individual likes and dislikes.
