Summer in Morzine has so much to offer. As does Chalet Central – mainly thanks to a location that’s the envy of other Morzine chalets in the summer (not to mention the games room!) This is the meaning of ‘prime location’. With the resort centre and main Pleney lift a quick 2-minute walk, the endless fun of summer in Morzine is practically on the doorstep.
Chalet Central has 6/7 bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 15 guests. Aesthetically, Chalet Central is pleasing on the eye, with good looks to befit its superb location in the centre of Morzine. For your summer holiday in Morzine this is an impressive chalet – inside and out.
Everyone wants to be outside when it’s summer in the Alps. The good news at Chalet Central is that there’s plenty of outdoor space, providing a safe area for children to play. The main lawned garden to the front is of a good size, there’s a “sun-trap” patio with seating and lovely views, an outdoor hot tub, BBQ and private parking. Although Chalet Central enjoys such a great location, it’s nicely hidden from any Morzine summer hubbub.
Inside is a space that’s been thought about, with the well-proportioned open-plan lounge-diner-kitchen, looking out to the patio/garden and beyond. There’s relaxed seating, a dining area and plenty of natural light. At this level, there’s one ensuite bedroom (with an oversized bathroom for disabled access) and the 7th ‘overflow’ bedroom. N.B. this room is the only one in the chalet that’s not ensuite, although separate toilet and shower facilities are available.
Upstairs are 4 well-furnished and spacious ensuite bedrooms as well as a handy second TV/sofa area. The bathrooms are large and contemporary and all benefit from a bath with shower. Each bedroom has a balcony with wonderful mountain vistas from this central Morzine location.
Downstairs (lower ground floor) is the ‘wellness area’ – complete with sauna and walk-in shower. On this level you’ll find the chalet’s feature games room (with table tennis, table football, darts board and Bluetooth speaker) to keep everyone entertained. The 6th ensuite bedroom is on this level, which offers private access to the chalet exterior.
