L’Ecole du Ski Français (ESF)
The ESF are the main French national ski school. They offer traditional 5 or 6 half-day group lessons as well as private lessons. The quality of instruction is generally high, with instructors speaking reasonable to fluent English, and represents good value for money. Especially over peak dates, group classes can suffer from large sizes (up to 12 people per instructor), and occasional disruption with people moving up and down levels.
Easy2Ride
Easy2Ride are renowned in Morzine for their wide range of group and private classes, with a size and product that lies somewhere in between those offered by ESF and the smaller snowsport schools below. All instructors should speak good to fluent English.
British Alpine Ski and Snowboard School (BASS)
A variety of small group courses and private lessons for all abilities, with British and fluent English-speaking instructors. BASS have been at the forefront of ski tuition for many years, with a reputation for high-quality and progressive teaching.
PDS Snowsport
A modern take on the traditional ski school with a team of passionate instructors offering group, private and specialist lessons such as freestyle and off-piste. Adult group lesson sizes will be no larger than 4 and children’s group lessons will be no larger than 6.
