Morzine chalets close to Le Pleney bubble

Morzine has a few well-known landmarks, but the moist famous one must be the Pleney gondola. After all, all pistes lead back here when you’re skiing on the Morzine Les Gets side of the mountain. Arriving back at the foot of the Pleney at the end of the day means you are home! Everyone knows the Pleney cable car in Morzine, and if your chalet is practically next door, then even better.

Simply Morzine ski chalets by the Pleney lift

From our catered Chalet Carving it’s possible to throw a snowball and hit the quick chairlift next to the main bubble (not that we recommend actually doing this)! This is how close this ski in ski out chalet is to the Pleney lift. The bottom of the Pleney pistes, including ‘Piste B’ and ‘The Stade’ all converge right in front of the chalet, making it a delight to relax in the outdoor hot tub and watch the world literally ski by. Chalets in Morzine do not get as near to the Pleney than this one!

Immediately behind Chalet Carving is our self catered Chalet Coeur de Morzine, which is only 30 metres from the Pleney télécabine. It takes a full one minute to walk to the bubble and off you go up the hill!

Just 150 metres from the Pleney ski lift are our catered Chalet Central and it’s mini-me next door, the self-catered Chalet Petit Central. Getting to the main Pleney lift from these chalets takes no time at all, thanks to the drag lift opposite which quickly gives enough elevation to ski across to the bubble. Or you could just walk in about 3 minutes in your ski boots!

Also on the Pleney side of the mountain are our large 10 bedroom Chalet des Montagnes and the delightful Hotel la Chaumiere. These properties are next door to each other and only metres from the Pleney pistes, which they all-but back on to.

Central Morzine chalets next to Le Pleney ski lift

The Pleney lift is in the centre of Morzine and is the main gateway to the local skiing. Ride the gondola out of Morzine to explore the fantastic Morzine Les Gets area of the Portes du Soleil. The skiing and snowboarding here is perfect for beginners and those who like to cruise, but there’s also some challenging pistes to be had at Nyon, Chamossière and Les Gets. The ESF ski instructor’s weekly torchlit decent of the Pleney is also well worth a watch from the comfort of your luxury chalet by the Pleney.
