Whether you’re a single parent, a big family or something in between, you’ve found your place at The Mont. We typically host four families with kids ranging anywhere from toddlers to teenagers, so you’ll have like-minded parents to chat with over dinner, while they’ll have new friends to meet in the playroom, challenge to ping pong or play with in the garden. And of course we can offer high chairs, cots, stair gates and everything else you might need for younger kids, too.

Go on adventures
Sit still? No way! Every guest at The Mont gets a free activity pass, which we’ll hand over the moment you arrive. The “Multi Pass” is your key to the Portes du Soleil, giving you free and discounted access to swimming pools (there’s a complex with an Olympic-sized pool and kids’ splash pool in Morzine), cinemas, tennis courts, skating rinks, museums, outdoor experiences and so much more. If you’re heading up the mountain or into another village, all the lifts and the local bus service are free for Multi Pass holders too. Go on: see how much you can pack into a single day.

Catered all summer long
You’re on holiday, aren’t you? Step away from the kitchen. At your nightly 4-course dinners, expect wholesome, summery treats like poke bowls, gambas pil pil, quinoa-stuffed aubergine and truffled goat’s cheese salads, complemented by free-flowing French wines and beer. You’ll also have the usual cooked and buffet breakfasts plus homebaked afternoon treats, and there’s an optional earlier kids’ supper too. Put the children to bed and have an evening to yourself; you’ve new friends to make.
Room to breathe
The Mont’s nestled away in a peaceful spot with private grounds featuring a garden, balcony, and dining terrace overlooking the surrounding mountains and up to Avoriaz. In the mornings, challenge the kids to count the paragliders while you sip a freshly poured coffee and plan the day’s adventures. Then, in the evenings, what could beat a crisp glass of French rosé with new friends as the sun goes down? Oh, yes – a glass of wine in a hot tub. And of course there’s one of those, too.
Close to the action
With children in tow, you won’t want to walk far. From The Mont it’s an easy 10-minute walk into Morzine’s centre, and for exploring the local area – like visiting Les Gets, taking a trip to Lake Montriond, or meeting the friendly mountain goats in Les Lindarets – transport is free with your Multi Pass.

Whatever the season or the chalet, we take real pride in the way we look after our guests. At The Mont your representatives, hosts and chef will be there to take care of every detail, while giving you plenty of space to get to know the other guests, relax with tea and cake on the balcony, or soak in views of Avoriaz from the hot tub. About The Mont
This place was the first ever Simply Morzine chalet, designed and built by the late Mike Marshall – dad of our director, Gareth – back in the 1990s, so we’ve spent many long, memorable summers here ourselves. Find family photo albums under the coffee table, settle in with our kids’ favourite books from the playroom, or ask us for things to do nearby; we could honestly talk about it for hours. It’s a cherished part of our family history, and we think it’ll become part of yours, too.
