…and relax! It’s only taken two years of painstakingly hard work. That aside. Forget the actual physical ‘doing’ – the planning, the copywriting, the design analysis, the functionality, not to mention anything else that goes into a making a new website. It’s probably taken us a decade if we add on all the thinking time!!! For us, the reason for the wait is simple. Simply Morzine is a labour of love. We’re a family-run holiday business who genuinely care that our guests have a great stay – in winter or summer. We’re good at what we do and we want every aspect of this to be the best. Our holidays come first. This is why we’re successful. So yes, it may be long overdue, but we’re chuffed to say we’re finally there. Simply Morzine’s shiny new website is now online!
The new Simply Morzine website was worth the wait and we’re delighted with the results…
Back at the start, we were armed with only a blank piece of paper and vague idea of what we wanted to achieve. We were then fortunate enough to find a design agency who shared our vision – to create an accomplished website that showcases Simply Morzine as the leading winter and summer holiday company in Morzine, the Alps, and beyond… We’re confident we’ve achieved this.
So, what does the new Simply Morzine website offer and do??
Perhaps the question should be what doesn’t it do! It offers booking requests, live availability, big photos, floorplans, special offers, a webcam, an ongoing blog bursting with exciting content, testimonials and hopefully pretty much everything it needs to do. It’s our online brochure and window to the world. We’re confident it’s fresh, modern and easy to navigate.
One of the challenges of the project was pitching the website to reflect our duel seasonality, to inform people that Morzine is not just about winter holidays. The designers wondered if we should we have two different holiday websites – one for winter and one for summer? Instead, we decided on a colour-themed solution. Blue for winter holiday, green for summer holidays and purple for generic Simply Morzine holiday information. Perfect. We hope this gives simple clarity.
With Simply Morzine, it’s all about the detail…
We need to stand out in the competitive holiday marketplace – to emphasise why we’re different, and especially, why guests should book with Simply Morzine. This is where the ABOUT section came into its own. Here, we’ve added information concerning our history, looked at what a Simply Morzine holiday offers, given an insight into our high standard of food & drink, displayed pictures and biographies of the great people who work with us, looked at the type of guests that stay with Simply Morzine and much more.

Our design team worked hard to create a separate accommodation page for each Simply Morzine property and for each season (winter and summer). With their simple layout, photo galleries, key facts, location maps, floorplans, prices and live availability, we hope this section of the website offers potential guests a genuine, honest insight into where they’ll be staying and our unique holiday wares. We believe these pages rival those of any online accommodation holiday rentals site.

We’ve written what we trust is fresh and engaging content about all what Morzine is, all that Morzine offers and why we love Morzine so much – and have done for over 25 years! There’s also an in-depth section about our unique summer family holidays, along with information about the seemingly endless list of activities to try. Whereas the Practical info section hopefully answers all technical questions, so guests can relax knowing that they have all of the details they need prior to joining us on holiday in winter or summer. We hope all that Simply Morzine offers is well and truly covered throughout our new website.

Owned and ran by the Marshall family, Simply Morzine were one of the first ‘pioneering’ chalet companies to establish ourselves in Morzine back in the mid 1990s – and we’ve been leading the market in both the winter and summer seasons ever since.
